If you ain’t running, you’re what sucks about America

I get the running vibe, i’m sure it happens in London, i’m just not up early enough to see.

It’s a huge contrast to what the rest of the world see America as. They’re definitely in their own bubble. The fascination of war, the domination of global markets, all seems in aid of whatever it is these people are doing. Jogging, it seems.

Walking seems a unique spectacle for anyone under 75 unless burdened by a dog, child or lack of legs. As a 24 year old, able bodied man, i’ve never felt so judged walking, like a dickhead, along the running track smoking a cigarette.

There’s more female runners than men. I’m sure there are peak times per gender, likely dependent on the time of day and subsequently how light it is outside. I’ll come back this eve and see how the ratio stands. Who knows, maybe these women feel comfortable running at night. they’d be the first globally but not something I think herd mentality can’t fix.

I picked up a coffee and banana before heading back to continue laying the foundation of Cricket and I’s soon to be strong friendship. We’re yet to touch, unless you count The Scratch.
