Making one website appealing to all buyers seems silly. If the product is a set branded entity then sure, keep the website as one set website. I think we should take the Le Roux approach, lots of sites, all with their own domains and own specific branding that suits the buyer. Girls, boys, older chaps, Ill ladies, the student, the worker, the bum – the whole lot.

One issue is the footprint, is lots of smaller feet better than one huge foot? Read into how Le Roux navigated that one. Three hosting providers, one main template site that’s edited to suit each buyer pool. Register the domains under different names, pick a trend – steer clear of Jack Reacher motel themes.
