I’ve been away for a while. Nothing serious, just trying to get this stuff out of my head. The plan was to search for something sustainable, something I can tell my Mum about. Didn’t work, took a few weeks out and now, I’m back. Bigger ideas, better ideas. As a meet in the middle idea, I’ve started taking an interest in legal, controversial businesses. W33d.co.uk, I guess I’ll start there. I think it’s time we supported a movement. The right people, with the right tech in the right places, well that could be a game-changer, and legal, which is a first for me. If every individual who took part in the smoking of cannabis grew a small, tiny, cannabis plant on their window cill, the government would have no choice but to decriminalise the drug. I know what you’re thinking, growing is different to consuming and it’s becoming blatantly obvious that the decriminalisation of the drug is waiting on the UK suppliers and sellers to get their shit together before this little piggy goes to legal market but wouldn’t it be cool if we could bring forward that release date?

At the heart, it’d be a data collection exercise. We’d get our hands on everyone and anyone with an interest in the drug, gauge their consumption and access to purchase and sell this on when things go legal. To distract from this, we’ll need a controversial activity, something to trigger a response. Here comes the controversy, cannabis seeds are legal to buy and keep, it’s only when the thing starts to grow that johnny law starts breathing down your neck. Owning a tiny cannabis plant is just the right level of rebellion to make younger audiences think they’re breaking the rules. And it could be strangely stylish. That’s it, sell grow kits all over the UK, at a decent price.

I’m not sold on the ideas yet but I’m getting there.

Ooo, remind me to tell you about SQL Injection, that shits mad.
